I'm right there with you, its a whole lot easier to plug a nice breakfast out into the schedule on Saturdays and Sundays.  The family over at Vovomeena wants to assure you, however, that many of our daily specials are geared towards the business and workcentric folks who are on their way to the job outside of the home.  This makes the model a little different during the week, but not any less satisfying.  The specials are often quickly executable and paired nicely with a cup of joe and/or a homemade scone.  If you like the biscuits we make (and i know you do, the computer doesnt lie), then im confident that a scone or a slice of bourbon & caramel coffee cake will be right up your alley.
Also, a note about the daily specials.  They tend to lean towards the lunchy side...savory and light, well tailored for the midday meal.  I hope that sheds some light on the ideas we had while constructing the offerings at our restaurant.  Cheers!

mexican benedict
so instead of the english muffin and canadian bacon combo, we took it in the SW direction where the bottom layer is a gordita (masa based "saucer") topped with saucy mexican chorizo.  poached eggs, cilantro, and holandaise round it out.  spuds (not shown) come on the side.
